Helical staircases or circular staircases do not have a middle shaft and there is a railing on both sides. Helical staircases have the benefit of a more standardized step width when matched up to spiral staircases. Helical staircases may well also be built around an egg-shaped or oval platform. Another type of staircase is bespoke staircases which are available in a variety of kit and different (off the shelf) formats. However, these categories of completed and ready to use staircases by no means fit as well as a accurate bespoke staircase which has been proficiently planned and manufactured by specialist or professional to fit into a particular site. In order to make a bespoke staircase it is critical to first take out a complete and precise on site survey.
One of the other types is the Spiral staircases which are twisted around a central pole. Spiral stairs classically have a rail on the external side only, and on the inner side just the middle pole. A squared spiral staircase presumes a square stairwell and enlarges the steps and fence to a shape of a square, resulting in asymmetrical steps (bigger where they expanded into an angle of the square).
